Competition Schedules

This page lists local, regional, national, and international events for mens and women's sabre. For international events please check the FIE website, and for regional events, please check the Oregon Division website.

Progressives

Progressives for fall 2011 are on September 24, October 22, November 19, and December 17. Pre-registration is available at ASKFRED.net. Entries are also accepted on the day of competition at the door.

The schedule of events for all OFA Progressive tournaments is as follows. The listed times are close of registration. Please note the changed close of registration for Y14.

Each fencer earns points based on performance. The fencer with the most points at the end of the four progressive series wins the series and a ceremonial sabre. Full details on scoring and other criteria are here.

In addition to the Fall Progressive Series, the Oregon Fencing Alliance is proud to host the OFA/National Women's Sabre Training Center Winter Camp Open Mixed Sabre Tournament on December 30, 2011. Camp members are welcome to participate as part of the camp. Fencers who are not camp members but meet the entry criteria are also welcome to participate. Details are posted at askFRED.
